“It is not yet time to rebuild the house of the Lord,” said Israel. This is the attitude of a Christianity that is more concerned with her own kingdom than God’s. God has called His people to be completely consumed with Him. Instead, too often we are distracted by all the details of life. Further, when we fail to place His purposed as the utmost priority, we fall away from the Truth in our thinking and our actions.
Most Christians think that they will never take the mark of the beast, but we must ask ourselves, whose image are we being conformed to now? Many Christians think that they would die for Christ, but we must ask ourselves who are we living for now? Are our thoughts, concerns, and actions sowing toward God’s Kingdom, or are we more concerned with our own lives? Now is, in fact, the time to rebuild the House of the Lord–and the Scripture declares that we are His temple!
The devil is out to destroy the Kingdom of God, and he desires to pull us aside from following after God with our whole-hearts. It is time for the Church to take her place and fight for full surrender to Christ.
